Job Purpose

As a Finance Accountant at Hill's Pet Nutrition, you will play a key role in our financial reporting processes, supporting the Financial Controller in managing internal and external reporting and maintaining robust financial controls.

Key Responsibilities

  • Financial Reporting: Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, including month-end closing, statutory accounts, and tax calculations.
  • Financial Controls: Implement and maintain adequate financial control processes, including accounts payable, payroll, and account reconciliations.
  • Vendor and Payment Management: Assist in managing vendor relationships and ensuring compliance with payment policies.
  • Treasury and Tax Support: Provide support with treasury and tax accounting and reporting.
  • SOX Compliance: Assist with SOX compliance, including testing and detailing internal controls.
  • Travel Expense Monitoring: Monitor travel expense payments and ensure compliance with local T&E policies.

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance and Accounting.
  • Experience: Proficient experience in GAAP, US GAAP, IFRS, and Italian statutory standards.
  • Technical Skills: Hands-on experience with SAP or similar ERP systems.
  • Language Skills: Strong English speaking and writing skills.
