Main Responsibilities

Prometeia is seeking a highly skilled Accounting and Reporting Specialist to join our Finance Administration department in our foreign branches office.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Receiving and integrating local accounting from branches into our company's system
  • Adjusting local accounting to Group accounting principles, including the conversion of transactions into the Group's currency
  • Managing relationships with foreign bookkeepers to ensure accurate and timely accounting of company transactions
  • Managing the intercompany transaction reconciliation process
  • Producing financial reports for management, including budget variance analysis and forecasting, cash flow, and translation statements
  • Supporting in interim and year-end closing activities
  • Collaborating with other departments to improve the efficiency of administrative processes
  • Supporting in maintaining relationships with the audit firm
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Master's degree in Economics or Finance with excellent grades
  • Previous experience of 2-4 years in the same role within either a structured company or in an audit firm
  • Excellent command of Microsoft Office, particularly Microsoft Excel, and accounting software
  • Very good English level (at least B2)

  • A strong interest in digital innovation, analytical thinking, and the ability to understand company processes through the analysis of both management and accounting data
  • Very good communicational and relational skills
