As a Data Analyst Intern at ING, you will be responsible for gathering functional and technical requirements related to our assets and enhancing software applications through coding and testing. You will work with data to generate value and support the business in gathering requirements, feeding functional and technical analysis, development, and testing activities.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop software applications according to ING Bank standards.
  • Work in an agile team in adherence with the solution design and enterprise architect team.
  • Follow and support Business in gathering requirements.
  • Write high-quality functional and technical documentation.
  • Implement high-quality code and propose/implement optimization on code design.
  • Design, write, and perform Unit Tests and Functional Tests.
  • Work with Release team for code versioning management.
  • Follow and support team defect and bug identification and resolution during test phase.
  • Identify and resolve production issues.

What are we looking for?

  • Candidate has or is studying for a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Information Technology/Engineering (computer/telecommunications).
  • He/she has knowledge or work experience in any of the following programming languages or technologies: Unix, Oracle SQL, IBM DataStage platform.
  • He/she has knowledge in bug-fixing and code optimization.
  • He/she is a good team player in a different culture.
  • He/she has the ability to learn in a short time and work in a dynamic environment.
  • He/she has good English knowledge (written and spoken).
  • He/she has very good communication skills, pro-active and easy to approach attitude.
