About the Role:

Sidereus Space Dynamics is a pioneering company in the field of reusable single-stage launch vehicles for rapid orbital access. We are seeking an experienced Propulsion Electronics Test Engineer to design and commission new test benches, develop software for the DAQ system, operate its dashboard during tests, handle cabling and connectors, and participate in engine testing campaigns.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop software for the DAQ system and operate its dashboard during tests.
  2. Select appropriate sensors, actuators, and valves for specific tests.
  3. Manage all necessary cabling and connectors.
  4. Code the tests' sequences.

Required Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Electronics Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field.
  • 1-2 years of experience in electronics testing.
  • Proficiency in LabView and programming languages such as MATLAB, Python, C, or C++.
  • Basic understanding of fluid dynamics, thermodynamics, and propulsion systems.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Advanced proficiency in technical English, both written and spoken.

PREFERRED SKILLS:

  • Experience with pressure-fed and pump-fed propulsion systems.
  • Familiarity with pipeline design, valves, sensors, and P&IDs.
  • Experience in propulsion test campaigns, including hot and cold flow testing.
  • Background in safety-critical environments.
  • Proficiency in data analysis acquisition, and technical report writing.
