As a Sustainability Associate Specialist at Arcese, you will play a crucial role in implementing innovative sustainability initiatives aimed at reducing our ecological footprint, promoting environmentally friendly practices, and ensuring compliance with all relevant environmental regulations and standards.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
  • Assisting the Sustainability team in creating an efficient data collection system for reporting purposes;
  • Participating in data gathering activities and compiling detailed reports;
  • Engaging with a proactive team dedicated to advancing sustainability projects across various departments;
  • Promoting a culture of sustainability within the organization;
  • Establishing Sustainability KPIs to track progress on initiatives, including analyzing data and trends;
  • Collaborating on ESG rating assessments and implementing actions to enhance our rating performance.
WHO YOU ARE:
  • A current student pursuing a degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, or a related discipline;
  • Fluent in English;
  • Possessing a strong passion for sustainability and environmental stewardship;
  • Having a foundational understanding of environmental regulations and sustainability standards;
  • Exhibiting excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities;
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint);
  • Demonstrating strong organizational and project management skills;
  • Exhibiting effective communication and interpersonal abilities;
  • Able to work both independently and collaboratively;
  • Detail-oriented with the capacity to manage multiple tasks;
  • Eager to learn and actively contribute to sustainability efforts.
