Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Manufacturing Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for managing teams of operators and department heads for part of our production plant. Your primary goal will be to ensure that our production processes run smoothly, efficiently, and safely.
- Lead and manage Manufacturing Team Leaders and operators;
- Ensure proper training of new employees, verify the constant and correct use of PPE where required, and verify the correspondence of the post to the suitability of the job;
- Guarantee compliance with the contractual rules, application of the company policy, 5S, SPS, and Quality and Environmental Management System throughout the sector;
- Collaborate with the Manufacturing Manager in balancing workload/resources to ensure the Service Quality Level required by internal and external customers and the achievement of sector and company objectives;
- Organize training sessions for personnel in the reference sector to promote their technical-productive skills, versatility, and interchangeability;
- Modify the sector's production programs to manage changes in delivery priorities or shortages of materials or plant shutdowns, promptly taking measures to contain negative effects on the Service Level and productivity;
- Ensure full execution of production plans in line with cost, quality, and delivery date targets;
- Pilot the support functions on priority actions, assigning them the resolution of the problems encountered.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement production plans, schedules, and procedures;
- Maintain accurate records of production data, inventory levels, and employee performance;
- Identify and resolve production-related issues and propose improvements;
- Train and mentor team members to improve their skills and performance;
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure effective communication and coordination.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field;
- Minimum 3 years of experience in manufacturing or production management;
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills;
- Strong analytical and organizational skills;
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
