**Compliance Internship Opportunity**

The Compliance team at Commerzbank AG Italy is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to support the local Head of Compliance and Compliance officers in providing advice and support on compliance and regulatory matters to Front Office and support functions, besides reporting requirements to HO and Italian Authorities.

The internship will also include the assistance in team processes and ad hoc project work, providing analysis and making recommendations, (including the review or processing of transaction monitoring alerts), as required.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Support the local Head of Compliance and Compliance officers in providing advice and support on compliance and regulatory matters.
  • Assist in team processes and ad hoc project work, providing analysis and making recommendations.
  • Review and process transaction monitoring alerts.

**Requirements:**

  • Degree in Economics / Finance.
  • Strong basis in analysis of corporate financial statements.
  • Good understanding of local Compliance policies and regulatory requirements, especially around AML and Sanctions Compliance.
  • Excellent knowledge of English & Italian.
