Tax Compliance and Reporting Responsibilities

As a Tax Compliance Specialist, you will play a key role in ensuring the company's tax compliance and reporting activities are carried out in a timely and accurate manner. Key responsibilities include:
  • Managing payroll accounting postings, VAT liquidation, group VAT consolidation, and reviewing VAT registers for correctness.
  • Preparing the monthly Intrastat declaration and yearly Certificazione Unica (CU), as well as the calculation of withholding tax and related payments.
  • Issuing invoices with correct VAT treatment and performing general accounting records linked to tax, payroll accounting, and insurance payments.
  • Supporting the preparation of VAT quarterly liquidation e-filling, yearly VAT declaration e-filling, and FY opening/closing process.
  • Performing accounting controls and reconciliations linked to tax compliance and payroll activities.

Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you must possess the following qualifications:
  • Fluency in Italian and English.
  • A degree in economics or business administration.
  • Previous experience in accounting and reporting, with a strong interest in fiscal and compliance matters.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
  • Able to apply curiosity to deepen knowledge in accounting and tax topics.
  • Impeccable attention to detail and excellent Microsoft Office skills.
