About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Project Developer to join our Development team in Statkraft Italy. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing Statkraft's business in Italy, in line with the company's targets and strategic direction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Proactively develop Statkraft's business in Italy, identifying new project opportunities and managing the development process from origination to Ready to Build (RtB) status.
  • Support the scouting and originating of new projects, conducting site and project technical due diligence, and managing land and legal activities to finalize and execute land agreements.
  • Manage the development process for secured projects, including origination, land agreements, project design, permit application, and post-authorization activities.
  • Coordinate the development of the Statkraft project portfolio, interacting with supporting departments, and ensuring the economic viability of projects and pipeline opportunities.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with external stakeholders, including development partners, public authorities, landowners, and external advisors.
  • Drive progress on projects by coordinating different work-streams with internal departments and support functions.
Requirements
  • Deep understanding of the Italian development process, including site-related activities, interconnection process, permitting process, and associated business development costs.
  • Solid Project Management skills and experience.
  • Knowledge of the electricity market in Italy, including merchant, PPA, and grid connection processes.
  • Demonstrated deep knowledge of solar/wind/storage technology and main equipment costs.
  • Basic knowledge of ancillary technologies, such as batteries and TD networks.
  • Fully accustomed to working within an international corporate environment with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Fluent in both Italian and English.
