Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Facility Operations Manager to join our team in San Giorgio di Nogaro, Italy. As a Facility Operations Manager, you will be responsible for managing the facility and office services and processes in designated company premises.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage Facility Operations
- Direct and plan essential services such as maintenance, janitor, security, mail, archiving, cleaning, catering, waste disposal, and recycling.
- Lead a Team
- Coordinate and lead a team or teams of staff to cover various areas of responsibility.
- Procurement and Project Management
- Prepare documents to put out tenders for contractors to provide services, calculating and comparing costs for required goods or services to achieve maximum value for money.
- Manage projects, supervise and coordinate work of contractors, checking that agreed work by staff or contractors has been completed satisfactorily and following up on any deficiencies.
- Emergency Response
- Respond to emergencies or urgent issues as they arise.
- Cross-Functional Support
- Cover the position of "Maintenance specialist" when requested.
Requirements
- Education
- High school diploma preferred or bachelor's degree (3 years).
- Language Skills
- English language proficiency is highly preferred.
- Technical Skills
- Knowledge of ERP systems such as SAP is preferred.
- Solid computer skills, including MS Office Suite.
- Soft Skills
- Problem solving, analytical, strong judgment, and decision-making skills.
