Job Summary:

LivaNova PLC is seeking a highly skilled Senior Internal Auditor to join our team. As a key member of our Internal Audit department, you will be responsible for conducting audits and related activities in accordance with an annual audit plan prepared by the VP of Internal Audit and approved by the LivaNova Audit Committee.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct audits and projects as assigned, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery of results.
  • Lead annual SOX compliance efforts by evaluating, documenting, and testing internal controls over financial reporting and related systems, providing oversight and training for business owners who test SOX controls.
  • Lead operational, financial, and compliance audit engagements, starting with preparation of the audit program through execution and reporting audit outcomes to stakeholders.
  • Conduct data analytics for transactional processes as part of audit procedures, identifying areas for improvement and providing recommendations for process enhancements.
  • Lead special projects and investigations as required, ensuring thorough and objective analysis of findings.
  • Perform other activities as may be required, including business travel of up to 15%.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance or a related field.
  • Three to five years of experience in public accounting or in an internal audit role with exposure to U.S. listed companies.
  • Mastery of the English language and excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Prefer CIA or CPA or equivalent certifications.
  • Experience in analyzing and evaluating internal controls and operational systems.
  • Experience with data analytics in an audit environment.
  • Solid knowledge of U.S. GAAP.
  • Knowledge of AuditBoard and SAP is a plus.
  • Experience in a manufacturing and/or regulatory environment is a plus.
  • International mindset and cross-cultural working attitude.
