Supplier Quality Assurance Lead

We are seeking a qualified Supplier Quality Assurance Lead to contribute to our strategic objectives. This role is situated within the Purchasing division of the Projects Business Unit, directly reporting to the Cost and Materials Director.
The selected candidate will be responsible for the following key tasks:
> Develop and enhance the Supplier Quality framework within the Business Unit
- assess existing quality initiatives against requirements
- recommend optimal activities and tools (framework) to align with future needs
- implement the framework based on supplier/material risk assessments
- foster continuous improvement of the framework
> Oversee the execution of Risk Assessments for suppliers and materials in the Business Unit
- coordinate with all relevant departments
- evaluate outcomes and formulate action plans to mitigate and manage risk areas
- lead the execution of these plans
> Serve as the primary liaison for supplier quality concerns (related to materials)
- track supplier performance regarding Non-Conformities (NC)
- facilitate the resolution of NC issues
- initiate and manage specific projects aimed at reducing supplier NC
> Establish supplier quality Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), develop and implement a strategy for their ongoing monitoring and evaluation
> Collaborate with Corporate Quality and Project Business Unit Product Quality
- assist in resolving NC issues for Corporate suppliers
- participate in audits at supplier locations
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for a Supplier Quality Assurance Lead with the following qualifications:
> Engineering or technical background
> Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience
> Strong professional background in Supplier Quality management, ideally within automotive, home appliances, or oil & gas sectors.
> Extensive experience in conducting audits and follow-up actions
> Ability to navigate complex organizational structures and excel in stakeholder engagement
> Proactive, inquisitive, results-oriented, and adept at managing complexity and challenges
> Exceptional team collaboration skills
> Proficient in English
> Willingness to travel (up to 30%)
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
> Experience across multiple industries
> Certification in auditing
