Job Title: Automotive Technician

NextEra Energy Resources is seeking a skilled Automotive Technician to join their team in Naples, FL.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Automotive Technician to perform maintenance and repairs on vehicles and equipment. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of engine diagnostic equipment, operating manuals, and technical drawings.

Responsibilities:
  • Analyze faults or malfunctions to determine required repairs using engine diagnostic equipment
  • Perform maintenance and repairs to vehicles and equipment
  • Communicate indirectly with vendors to test products and technical services
  • Communicate with customers on vehicle and equipment status
  • Meet attendance and storm duty requirements
Requirements:
  • High School Grad/GED
  • 2+ years of experience
  • Valid Driver's License (Non CDL)
  • Three Medium Duty/Heavy Duty Truck ASE Certifications of which one is for T4 Brakes OR Associate's Degree OR certificate of completion from an accredited university within a related field
  • OR Military MOS within a related field
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Automotive Air Conditioning Certification
