Welder - Fabrication Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Welder to join our team at Wieland Provides, Inc. as a Fabrication Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for performing a wide range of operations associated with welded assembly of final products, sub-assemblies, and components.

• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and other written or electronic instructions to perform welding tasks.
• Work with various ferrous, non-ferrous, and alloy materials to fabricate and assemble products.
• Operate a range of tools and equipment used in fabrication, handling, manipulation, and movement of products.
• Utilize various welding techniques and equipment to ensure high-quality welds.
• May supervise machines that perform automated welding tasks.
• Ensure adherence to ASME Code regulations and maintain a safe working environment.

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; 2+ years of experience in an industrial environment preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents, including blueprints and schematics.
• Strong mechanical knowledge and ability to work with a variety of materials.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet productivity standards.
• Physical ability to perform tasks that require standing, kneeling, bending, and reaching.

• Work in a heavy industrial setting with exposure to heat, cold, humidity, and industrial odors.
• Ability to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) required for this position.
• Close vision, distant vision, color vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
