Validation Engineer

As a key member of the Thermo Fisher Scientific team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and integrity of our information systems. Your expertise in validation will be instrumental in helping us meet the highest standards of compliance with Italian, European, and American guidelines.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Execute validation projects under the supervision of the CSV specialist, ensuring that all information systems used at the Patheon Monza facility meet the required standards.
  • Edit validation documents, including specification documents, risk analysis, and validation protocols, in accordance with site procedures.
  • Collaborate with other functions of the site and external contractors to complete validation tasks, adhering to internal and external guidelines.
  • Verify that validation documents issued by suppliers and contractors are compliant with quality standards.
  • Apply local and global procedures to ensure the application of the Company policy.
  • Work closely with internal areas, including Manufacturing and Maintenance, QA/QC, Logistics, and IT, to ensure seamless validation processes.
Requirements:
  • Computer Science or Scientific Degree or equivalent.
  • Knowledge of GMP/GAMP.
  • Proficiency in Word, Excel, and MS Project.
  • Previous experience in information systems validation is an asset.
