We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Engineering Project Coordinator to join our team at DG Heating and Air Conditioning Inc. As a key member of our engineering department, you will be responsible for coordinating and leading piping and layout teams to ensure the successful delivery of projects within scope, budget, and timeline.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with project management and procurement teams to ensure efficient communication and coordination of engineering activities.
- Plan and execute engineering tasks, reporting to project and engineering managers on project status.
- Supervise and approve project documentation, including plant layout and piping designs.
- Ensure quotation requests to vendors and external engineering resources are compliant with internal rules.
- Support sales and service departments with materials cost estimation and consultancy on mechanical issues.
- Cooperate with internal technical departments, including engineering management, process, instrumentation, and electrical.
- Participate in business travel worldwide for technical meetings, site activities, and plant surveys.
- Master's degree in engineering or equivalent.
- At least 10 years of experience in engineering companies operating in industrial plant design.
- At least 5 years of experience in coordinating piping and layout teams.
- Experience in planning and following up resources and activities on short-term and mid-term time horizons.
- Knowledge of IT tools, including Word, Excel, and AUTOCAD.
- Knowledge of 3D piping modeling software, specifically E3D by Aveva.
- Excellent spoken and written English language skills.
- Availability for international travel.
- Strong leadership, coordination, and relationship skills.
- Deep understanding of engineering principles.
