Job Title: Product Manager

Job Description:

Leonardo is seeking a Product Manager to join our Electronics Division's Chief Technology Office (CTO) in Pomezia/Roma Tiburtina. As a Product Manager, you will be responsible for leading the development and launch of new products, including Airborne Computers and Smart Cockpit Displays.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop business plans in collaboration with the Business Area and market research
  • Identify and monitor technological trends
  • Support and collaborate with external entities (industrial and research)
  • Participate in Working Groups (WG) on thematic topics
  • Contribute to the definition of new product proposals
  • Support Engineering in developing new products, focusing on design to cost and design for manufacturing
  • Collaborate with Production Engineering to define processes and materials for new product development

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or Physics
  • 3-5 years of experience in a similar role
  • Excellent knowledge of computing avionics and cockpit/pilot HMI
  • Experience in HW/SW design and development
  • Ability to conduct comparative evaluations of third-party products
  • Experience in conducting economic analyses
  • Familiarity with avionics architectures

Desirable Skills:

  • Knowledge of DO254/178C processes
  • Experience in international projects

Language Skills:

  • Excellent knowledge of English (C1 level)

Working Conditions:

The ideal candidate will be available to work primarily in the office and travel occasionally for short to medium periods. The company values international experience and knowledge of technical processes.
