We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Reporting Specialist to join our dynamic finance team at Prysmian Group.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and analyze consolidated financial statements in compliance with IFRS/IAS standards.
  • Ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial data.
  • Participate in the quarterly, half-year, and annual Group consolidation process, including intercompany reconciliations, eliminations, consolidation adjustments, journal entries, checks, and analysis.
  • Collaborate with various departments to gather necessary financial information.
  • Prepare and book monthly consolidation entries.
  • Assist in the preparation of management reports and the notes accompanying half-year and annual consolidated financial statements.
  • Conduct variance analysis and provide insights on financial performance.
  • Support mid-year and year-end audits, liaising with external auditors.
  • Implement and continuously improve controls for consolidated figures.
  • Interact and guide affiliates during monthly, quarterly, half-yearly, and yearly closings, supporting them with group reporting.
  • Assist various departments with special requests.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 2-4 years of experience, preferably within a Big Four firm (Audit) or in the consolidated financial statement department of a multinational group.
  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
  • Strong knowledge of IFRS/IAS standards and accounting principles.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office tools.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A strong desire to learn and continuously develop professionally.
