Overview

Einars is a values-focused company with multi-year experience, specialised in the recruitment of professionals for niche markets.

We are seeking a skilled UX/UI and Front-End Developer to join our client's team, working remotely in the EU territory.

Responsibilities
  1. Development of front-end website architecture and responsive UI solutions following good coding practices, including creation/correction of CSS and transforming mock-ups into semantic HTML and development of innovative solutions for different platforms as well as integration with DBs or other server-side logic
  2. Design and development of features to enhance the user experience.
  3. UX writing
  4. Visual prototyping of UI solutions such as designing (low- and high-fidelity) wireframes, mock-ups and storyboards which lead to an intuitive user experience.
  5. User Experience (UX) analysis
  6. Consultancy on UI at any step of the design of a digital solution (from brainstorming to research, sketches, prototypes, user tests and final implementation)
  7. Design and development of UI solutions for different web products and platforms, including showing styling, use of typography, images, text, the definition of Information Architecture, interaction workflows and navigation
  8. Creation and maintenance of style guides, brand book and visual component libraries, including sketched concepts and page templates.
  9. Creation of graphical elements including illustrations, visuals, infographics, data visualisations, etc.
  10. Documentation of code, ensuring easy maintenance & evolution
  11. Optimisation of application for maximum performance and scalability
  12. Cross-platform optimisation.
  13. Definition of user-centred evaluations of UI solutions, identifying key usability problems and providing recommendations on how to solve them (including the participation in usability studies with users)
  14. Synthesis of UX research, web analytics data, as well as surveys, legacy and organizational goals.
  15. Testing and fixing bugs or other coding issues.
  16. Compile and analyse data, processes, and codes to troubleshoot problems and identify areas for improvement.
  17. Understanding and implementation of security and data protection.
  18. Usability studies

  24. Meet both technical and consumer needs.
Requirements
  1. Experience in UI/UX design
  2. Previous experience in Graphic Design
  3. Knowledge of web technologies, frameworks and standards such as HTML, XHTML, CSS and jQuery development, W3C, accessibility, SEO, JavaScript, Angular, React, Vue
  4. Good knowledge of Typescript, Webpack
  5. Knowledge of GIT
  6. Knowledge of PHP, using Twig.
  7. Knowledge of Laravel.
  8. Experience with Bootstrap
  9. Experience with Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator ad XD
  10. Knowledge of CoreIDraw
  11. Knowledge in customisation of collaborative tools such as Atlassian's Confluence or similar
  12. Knowledge of Typography concepts
  13. Previous experience with Agile software development methodology
  14. Experience in using WordPress
  15. Good knowledge of Drupal
  16. Prototyping experience using tools such as Figma
  17. CI/CD
  18. Knowledge of user testing through all stages of a project, including different techniques (e.g. eye tracking, dynamic/static verification) and methods of testing (e.g. remote usability testing, A/B testing, hallway testing, post release testing)
  19. Ability to give presentations
  20. Ability to apply high quality standards
  21. Ability to cope with fast changing technologies
  22. Very good communication skills with technical and non-technical audiences
  23. Analysis and problem solving skills
  24. Ability to work independently and troubleshoot issues effectively.
Additional Requirements
  1. Capability of integration in an international/multicultural environment, rapid self-starting capability and experience in working in team;
  2. Ability to participate in multilingual meetings;
  3. Ability to work in multi-cultural environment, on multiple large projects;
  4. Excellent Team Player
  5. Ability to understand, speak and write English (B1,B2) will be an advantage;
  6. High degree of discretion and integrity is required as the applications managed and maintained in the unit contain personal and confidential data
