Visual Effects Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Visual Effects Specialist to collaborate with our team of CGI content creators at Red Raion.
In this role, you will work closely with the Art Director to create stunning real-time rendered visual effects that enhance storytelling and viewer engagement.
The ideal candidate will have expertise in PBR or PBM, Unreal Material Editor, and a strong understanding of material domains and blend modes.
Responsibilities include designing and creating real-time visual effects, collaborating with the production team, and implementing, troubleshooting, and optimizing visual effects in Unreal Engine.
Requirements include proficiency in Niagara, including creating custom scratch pads, and experience creating sprite sheets, vertex animation textures, vector fields, and flow maps in Houdini and/or Maya.
Preferred skills include experience working with particle systems, Sparse Volume Texture or VDB, and Niagara data interfaces.
