Financial Planning Specialist

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a Management Control Team in Milan. As a Controller, you will be responsible for monitoring and analyzing financial results, reviewing performances versus targets, and supporting the strategic plan delivery. Your role will involve coordinating local planning and control functions along the annual planning process and helping in the definition of hypotheses and scenarios.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Monitor and analyze pre-defined sets of business/financial KPIs from countries through the preparation of aggregated reports
- Analyze overall financial results and review performances versus targets
- Support the strategic plan delivery by coordinating local planning and control functions along the annual planning process
- Provide support and figures for top-down targets definition (overall, by country and Line of Business)
- Define and maintain cost allocation models
- Perform budgeting by Cost Central Functions and monitor actual expenses
- Collaborate with central functions to design reports/dashboard to support their activities
Requirements:
- 3-4 years of practical experience in Finance or Controlling department or audit firm
- Quantitative and analytical approach
- Basic knowledge of accounting standards
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- High level Excel knowledge
- Experience with Reporting Tools (e.g. Business Objects)
- Ability to build relationships at central and local level
- Ability to quickly learn new technologies and develop data-driven solutions
- Knowledge of Navision preferred
- Degree in quantitative discipline such as Statistics/Economics/Engineering
- Fluency in English; additional languages an advantage
