Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Project Manager Junior to join our team at Flowserve. As a Project Manager Junior, you will be responsible for managing all assigned projects/contracts, from the arrival of the order to the complete fulfillment of the supply and invoicing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Apply and observe project management office operating procedures and ensure that they are observed in day-by-day processes.
  • Perform detailed contract analysis to verify that all necessary and mandated requirements are present and complete for system entry and booking entry.
  • Identify and highlight discrepancies and/or deficiencies that do not allow the contract to be processed.
  • Oversee (execute if necessary) the entry of the order into the system and then the creation of internal order/internal project.
  • Oversee and be responsible for preparing the Contract Review Meeting and verifying the completeness of information made available by Sales for said meeting.
  • Oversee the constant recording and updating of all suspensions with the customer or the various functions until complete resolution in accordance with the established schedule.
  • Oversee the constant monitoring of parameters and intermediate objectives of the project.
  • Perform project control together with involved functions.
  • Perform constant monitoring of possible penalties applicable to all managed projects/contracts with timely calculation and oversee proper monthly data recording.
  • After consultation with the Project Management Manager, visit clients and attend meetings called by the client and/or convene meetings.
  • Analyze contract change requests from the customer.
  • Receive notice of necessary change from the business function involved, verifying the impact against project requirements.
  • Schedule billing according to payment terms of each contract, oversee the entry of the schedule into the system, oversee the monitoring of the realization of conditions to authorize Finance to bill, perform discrepancy checking against the initial schedule, check with the customer, or with the functions in charge of realizing the payment milestone, possible remedial actions and proceed to re-scheduling, having it reviewed in the system.
  • Oversee the management of documentation for client approval.
  • Coordinate the operational activities of the Document Controller of the team.

Requirements:

  • Experience in managing direct relationships with customers and solving problems.
  • Experience in multinational contexts.
  • Previous experience as Project Manager/Project Engineer, for knowledge of the project management process in its entirety and complexity, including the management of relationships with customers and stakeholders typical of the development of a project.
  • Italian and English fluent.
  • Good organizational skills.
  • Good Problem Solving skills.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
