Position Overview
We are in search of a Software Development Engineer to enhance our team and assist a significant client in the automotive sector. The selected candidate will be tasked with developing software solutions for real-time embedded systems in the automotive domain. The role primarily involves requirement analysis, software design, coding, testing, and integrating software products within a modular development environment or for incorporation into target products.
- Collaborate with algorithm engineers to analyze requirements
- Design software architecture and implement coding in accordance with company standards
- Define and conduct validation tests, evaluating results against requirements
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of the software.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Computer Engineering or related field
- 1-2 years of professional experience in software development and testing
- Proficient in C programming, microcontrollers, and associated development tools (compilers, debuggers, etc.)
- Basic understanding of common scripting languages such as Python, Perl, Java, HTML, and Matlab
- Familiarity with version control systems, and foundational knowledge of real-time operating systems for safety-critical embedded controls, AUTOSAR standards, and AGILE methodologies is preferred
- Basic knowledge of microcontroller peripherals and software drivers is advantageous
- Proficient in English
