About the Role



We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Frontend Mobile Software Engineer to join our Consumer Digital Experience (CODE) Focus Area, Partner Content team in Portugal.



As a senior developer, you will be responsible for developing highly scalable user-facing applications, ensuring best practices of modern web development are followed. You will have opportunities to take part in architectural decisions, suggest improvements, and interact with the product team and other business stakeholders in a highly collaborative agile environment.



The ideal candidate will have consolidated experience in web and mobile development, with expertise in ReactJS and React Native ecosystem, as well as GraphQL (Client-side and Server-side). Experience with monitoring, observability, and KPIs tracking, and implementing prototypes and practices such as MVP, A/B testing, and feature toggles for rolling out features to production is also required.

Key Responsibilities




  • Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and improve services focusing on performance, scalability, and resilience
  • Support existing systems looking to enhance functionality, increase scale, and transform in new ways to meet our product demands
  • Participate in the development of Desktop and Mobile applications as well as BFFs and front-end services that support the team's scope
  • Work in a collaborative and agile environment that prioritizes people over process and is laser-focused on productivity
  • Work with cutting-edge technologies and edge cases on a global scale

Requirements




  • Consolidated experience in web and mobile development
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related discipline or equivalent practical experience
  • Experience with ReactJS and React Native ecosystem
  • Experience with GraphQL (Client-side and Server-side)
  • Experience with monitoring, observability, and KPIs tracking
  • Experienced in implementing prototypes and in practices and concepts such as MVP, A/B testing, and feature toggles for rolling out features to production
  • Proficient in a broad range of common UX patterns
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills
  • Experience with microservices and high-volume distributed systems
  • Communication skills to work with multidisciplinary teams located in several countries with different cultures
  • You need to be able to articulate ideas clearly when speaking to groups in English
