Director of Renewable Energy Projects

GRS Recruitment is working in close partnership with a global company specializing in investing into renewable energy projects to hire a Director for their Cyprus operations. The company has developed an impressive portfolio of solar energy projects with a total capacity of over 300 MW.

Main Duties and Responsibilities
  • Establish and manage a high-performing team.
  • Lead the construction processes of PV parks and other renewable energy projects in Cyprus.
  • Oversee the construction of waste processing plants in Cyprus.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest renewable energy technologies.
  • Review deliverables to ensure compliance with quality and quantity requirements, as well as current Cypriot and European laws and regulations.
  • Coordinate and consult on related matters.
Candidate Profile
  • Holder of a University degree in Civil Engineering or a relevant field.
  • Member of the Council for the Registration and Control of Contractors and the Cyprus Scientific and Technical Chamber (ETEK).
  • Previous experience in leading positions.
  • Knowledge of Local Administration procedures in Design, Pre-Construction, Construction, and Post-Construction phases of PV parks, renewable energy plants, and waste processing plants.
  • Solid working knowledge of Engineering Software and Project Management Software.
  • Open attitude and willingness to take on additional responsibilities.
  • Effective communicator with fluency in Greek and English, both written and verbal.
