YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Establish the strategic and global framework for sourcing initiatives to meet corporate goals and foster sustainable value generation.
  • Conduct strategic selection, qualification, and development of suppliers.
  • Explore and assess new procurement avenues in line with established sourcing strategies to maintain long-term competitiveness and supply reliability, while optimizing cost structures and minimizing risk.
  • Enhance supply chain resilience through multi-sourcing, near-shoring, standardization, and diversification of manufacturing networks.
  • Refine supply chain operations by adopting best practices aimed at boosting efficiency, minimizing risks, and enhancing supplier and product quality.
  • Draft and negotiate procurement contracts and supply agreements on both domestic and international fronts to secure optimal cost, quality, availability, and service.
  • Manage material costs by engaging in new product development and overseeing purchasing activities during the initial phases of product qualification and launch.
  • Establish and implement key performance indicators for procurement to evaluate the effectiveness of strategies and processes, ensuring ongoing enhancement.
  • Collaborate closely with internal departments such as Sales, R&D, and Product Quality to ensure effective communication and alignment of sourcing and supply chain strategies.
  • Identify, evaluate, and mitigate risks to ensure business continuity and compliance.
  • Lead and nurture teams of sourcing professionals to achieve exceptional performance and successful execution of business strategies.
  • Ensure adherence to regulatory, environmental, and social standards within the supply chain.

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

  • Master's degree in a relevant technical or business discipline.
  • Demonstrated experience in procurement and supply chain management, ideally within the automotive and electronics sectors, with previous global responsibilities considered a plus.
  • Proven track record in executing effective procurement and supply chain strategies.
  • Strong foundation in electrical and mechanical engineering.
  • Familiarity with international sourcing markets, negotiation strategies, and supplier assessment.
  • Experience in leading and developing teams.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills for effective interaction with stakeholders.
  • Fluency in German, Italian, and English.
