Job Title: Senior Data Intelligence Manager

Join our team at EssilorLuxottica, a global leader in the design, manufacture, and distribution of ophthalmic lenses, frames, and sunglasses. We bring together the complementary expertise of two industry pioneers to create a vertically integrated business that addresses the world's evolving vision needs and the global demand of a growing eyewear industry.

Job Scope and Main Responsibilities:
  • Lead the Business and Data Intelligence team globally across EL with responsibilities related to BI (both in terms of business intelligence and delivery in terms of data intelligence)
  • Streamline data-related activities, in terms of version of truth, single source of truth
  • Simplify the reporting landscape, with primary focus on scalability and accuracy
  • Create a data-driven culture across all business units
  • Guide the Demand managers and delivery managers to meet business needs, and support them in day-to-day activities
  • People management: 15+ people plus vendors
Network of Interaction:
  • Internal: Business and IT leads across all departments
  • External: software vendors and consulting companies
Technical Skills:

Portrait of a perfect candidate:

  • Educational background in Masters in Information tech, engineering in computer side with focus on data or relevant field
  • At least 15-20 years of experience in Data intelligence role
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Solid experience with SAP BW4HANA, SAP ERPs (S4, AFS)
  • Data warehousing, data mining, Azure tech stack, reporting platforms like SAP BO, SAC
  • Solid experience in data warehousing and business intelligence
  • Experience in running large integration projects and bringing on change management into the new integration teams
