At Villanova University, we are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Student Communications Assistant to support the McNulty Institute for Women's Leadership. This is an excellent opportunity for a student to gain hands-on experience in multimedia communications and contribute to the growth of the Institute's communication initiatives.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement a comprehensive marketing calendar to promote national and international celebration days and key dates related to women's history and gender equity.
- Research and create fact sheets on women's advancement and gender equity, highlighting key statistics and trends.
- Design and implement social media templates to enhance the Institute's online presence.
- Support cross-campus partnerships through marketing initiatives, fostering collaboration and promoting the Institute's mission.
- Update the Institute's website with fresh content, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
- Experience in multimedia communications, with a strong understanding of social media platforms and content creation.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to take initiative and multitask.
- Mature decision-making capabilities, with a proven track record of creativity and innovation.
- Interest in journalistic skills and experience, with a focus on editing and production skills related to blogs, podcasts, website development, and videos.
