Join Alstom's Innovative Team as a V&V Manager

We're seeking a skilled V&V Manager to lead our critical testing activities, ensuring seamless interoperability between on-board and wayside control systems in a dynamic and innovative environment.

About the Role

As a V&V Manager, you'll take on a new challenge and apply your integration testing and engineering expertise in a cutting-edge field. You'll work alongside dedicated and innovative teammates, managing and executing critical testing activities to ensure seamless interoperability between on-board and wayside control systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and plan testing activities, both in simulated environments and on-site
  • Configure test tools and systems for laboratory and on-site testing
  • Organize and execute testing activities
  • Collaborate with on-board engineers and other stakeholders
  • Record and analyze test sessions and generate comprehensive reports
  • Support on-site trial runs with the test and commissioning team
Requirements

  • Degree in Electrical, Electronic, or Computer Engineering, or related field
  • Experience or understanding of ETCS, Interlocking (IXL) systems, and ERTMS standards
  • Knowledge of control command and signalling systems within railway infrastructure
  • Familiarity with testing tools and simulation environments
  • Certification in project management or systems engineering is a plus
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Effective communication and coordination abilities
