Intraday Energy Trader

Position Overview:

As a key player in the Intraday Trading Desk, you will engage in a vibrant and fast-moving business landscape.

This role offers the chance to design, refine, and implement trading strategies across European short-term power markets.

You will actively contribute to the development of our algorithmic trading systems, collaborating closely with our quantitative analysis team. Success in this position requires a strong affinity for numerical analysis and logical problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities:

Execute trades on Day-Ahead and Intraday Power Markets throughout Europe; Actively participate in the creation of algorithmic trading and quantitative models; Formulate and implement daily and intraday trading strategies; Acquire in-depth knowledge of the primary factors influencing the power market; Provide constructive and transparent feedback;

Required Qualifications:

A degree in Mathematics, Physics, Statistics, Finance, or a related field; Minimum of 1 year of experience in an intraday power trading capacity; Proficient in Excel, Python, and VBA;

Preferred Skills:

Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and timeliness; A keen interest in trading with a results-oriented mindset; Ability to perform well under pressure; Excellent communication skills and teamwork capabilities; Outstanding organizational and planning skills;
