About the Role

Prysmian Group is seeking a highly skilled Risk Management Specialist to join our team as an ERM Manager, reporting to the Group Risk Governance, ERM & Transmission Risk Management Sr. Manager.

This pivotal role involves identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks across the Group. You will develop and implement a comprehensive enterprise risk management framework that drives proactive risk identification and strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and Maintain Risk Management Framework: Develop and maintain a robust enterprise risk management framework that integrates risk management into all aspects of Prysmian's activities and decision-making processes.
  • Risk Assessment and Reporting: Develop risk assessments, surveys, dashboards, scorecards, and reports using key metrics to support the executive team in evaluating and reporting enterprise risk.
  • Foster a Risk-Aware Culture: Foster a risk-aware culture across the Group, encouraging and valuing risk identification and reporting by all members of Prysmian.
  • Risk Identification and Assessment: Lead the identification and assessment of risks across various areas including operations, finance, technology, compliance, sustainability, and reputation.
  • Risk Mitigation Strategies: Develop and implement strategies to mitigate identified risks, working closely with stakeholders to establish effective controls and action plans.
  • Regular Risk Assessment Reports: Create and distribute regular risk assessment reports to senior leadership, providing insights into emerging risks, trends, and the effectiveness of mitigation strategies.
  • Collaboration with Stakeholders: Work with department heads and operational leaders to address specific risks within their areas, providing guidance and support in developing risk mitigation plans.
  • Industry Trends and Regulatory Changes: Stay informed about industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging risks that could impact the Group, and proactively recommend adjustments to the risk management strategy.
  • Alignment with Compliance and Audit: Collaborate with Compliance, Audit teams, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment between risk management, compliance efforts, and auditing activities.
Requirements
  • Master's Degree: Master's degree in Law, Accounting, Business Administration, or Engineering.
  • Related Experience: 5-7 years of related experience in compliance, audit, or enterprise risk management within large manufacturing organizations.
  • International Experience: Experience working in international environments.
  • Complex Engagement Management: Proven ability to manage and complete complex multiple engagements.
  • Business Process and Internal Control Skills: Strong business process and internal control skills, corporate governance, and internal audit methodology.
  • Analytical and Communication Skills: High level of analytical skills, capable of simplifying complex arguments to support risk analysis and assessment. Effective presentation, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Language Skills: Fluency in English is essential.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy.
  • Collaborative Team Player: A collaborative team player with a can-do attitude.
