Glass Manufacturing Engineer

O-I is a leading manufacturer of glass containers, and we are looking for a talented Graduate Program participant to join our team.

As a Graduate Program participant, you will have the opportunity to work and study in our plants, shoulder to shoulder with our best managers and glassmakers. You will learn everything about our processes, technologies, and roles, and you will be assigned to our Aprilia plant. During this experience, you will work with Graduate Engineers coming from all over Europe, and you will be presented with challenging and diverse opportunities while being supported through a structured learning and development program.

At the end of our Graduate Program, you will have developed an in-depth knowledge of our industry and our processes, and you will be assigned to one of our Italian plants as a Production Engineer. You will become the leader of a glass production line, an engineer in the mould or maintenance shops, or work as a furnace engineer.

To be eligible for this role, you must have a Master Degree in mechanical, industrial, or chemical engineering completed with honours in 2024. Your CEFR level for both Italian and English must be at least B2. You must be passionate about manufacturing processes and activities, and you must be willing to work in the heat and noise of our factories' shop floors as a manufacturing engineer. You must also have a valid work permit for Italy.
