Position Overview :

Marposs is seeking a Senior Software Developer to enhance our technical capabilities. This role will be based at our headquarters and focuses on the development of web applications utilizing the Microsoft .NET Framework.

The selected candidate will work closely with the technical office head, taking an active role in the analysis, implementation, and testing of software development and maintenance projects.

We prefer candidates who are looking for permanent positions, although freelance profiles will also be considered.

Requirements :

The ideal candidate should possess a degree in computer engineering and have 3 to 5 years of experience in web application development using the Microsoft .NET Framework. Key qualifications include:

  • Proficiency in full-stack development with C# on .NET Framework versions 3.5, 4.5, and later
  • Experience in developing Single Page Applications (SPA)
  • Familiarity with ASP.NET MVC and Web Forms
  • Knowledge of SOAP and RESTful Web Services (WebAPI)
  • Front-end skills in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, and Bootstrap
  • Experience with Microsoft Visual Studio IDE
  • Understanding of Microsoft Windows Server Operating Systems
  • Knowledge of Internet Protocols
  • Experience with IIS Web Server
  • Familiarity with DBMS MS SQL Server and Oracle
  • Proficient in using Git and SVN version control systems
  • Ability to independently develop user stories, from core business logic to user interface
  • Good command of Technical English

Additional knowledge that would be advantageous includes:

  • Experience with ORM Entity Framework
