Job Summary

Prysmian Group is seeking a highly skilled professional to support the Type Test Activities in the Land & Jointing Installation department of the Business Unit Transmission, based in Milano.

The successful candidate will report to the Manager of the Land & Jointing Installation function and will work closely with the Jointing and Land Installation Operations Coordinator to ensure the smooth operation of the Type Test Jointing activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Liaise with testing function to ensure laboratories planning matches with jointing resources availability
  • Ensure properly booking of jointing tools and equipment required to assemble the testing loops
  • Ensure Organizational and Technical Support to the Jointing Superintended appointed to supervise test loop assembly
  • Review available documents (jointing instruction and accessories drawing) to confirm compliance with technical specification requirements

Requirements

  • A master's degree in Electrical, Electronic, Mechanical, Civil Engineering or similar Degrees
  • Preferably previous work experience on electrical testing and commissioning activities of 2-4 years within onshore and offshore environment
  • English fluent
  • Availability to travel
  • Excellent relationship and team working abilities
  • Problem solving, target oriented, capable to define and set priorities
  • Very good communication skills
  • Flexibility and adaptability to continuous change
  • Eager to learn
  • Previous experience of client relationship will be a plus
  • Knowledge and familiarity with all basic and common software (Office suite and Autocad 2D)
