Job Overview

Sky Italia, the European leader in entertainment, is seeking a skilled Cloud DevOps Engineer to join the IT Digital Channels Platform team.

The successful candidate will work in a complex and challenging enterprise-level environment with a strong commitment to results and collaboration.

Responsibilities

  1. Designing and implementing cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles.
  2. Developing automation frameworks for Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD).
  3. Mentoring DevOps culture within the software center.
  4. Participating in establishing and driving organizational processes/initiatives.

Requirements

  1. Working knowledge of Infrastructure as Code principles and tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation).
  2. Strong proficiency in designing and implementing cloud solutions (AWS/Azure).
  3. Working knowledge of DevOps and CI/CD principles and tools (e.g., Jenkins).
  4. Strong understanding and working knowledge of cloud networking and security patterns.
  5. Experience with code versioning systems such as Git and scripting languages (Bash, Python, TypeScript).
