Job Title: Operational Category Manager

As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in supporting the business manager in all aspects of vendor operational management. Your primary focus will be on ensuring best-in-class data integrity, system tools, and reporting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support end-to-end product and vendor lifecycle management, ensuring system accuracy and product adoption and creation in our systems.
  • Collaborate with the profit team to implement vendor pricing strategies and manage exceptions and corrective actions.
  • Manage the ship and debit process in conjunction with the central team in Barcelona.
  • Work closely with the purchasing team to ensure seamless operations.
  • Partner with Business Intelligence to produce sales out reports and develop execution plans based on findings.
  • Monitor and maintain quarterly Gross Profit (GP) absolute and percentage quality targets.
  • Establish and maintain operational relationships with vendor peers to discuss future products, forecasting, and planning processes, as well as product sell-out.
  • Contribute to the automation, streamlining, and improvement of integrated end-to-end processes.
  • Support the execution of the business plan in conjunction with the vendor business lead(s).
  • Provide sales floor support with pricing, ship and debit, and general product queries and order management.
Requirements:
  • Degree or high school diploma in a business-related subject is desirable.
  • Commercial or product experience, preferably in a technology business.
  • Experience with SAP R3 and Business Warehouse would be an advantage.
  • Excellent communication skills, with English as a mandatory language.
  • Distribution or vendor experience would be beneficial.
  • A knowledge of product and technology portfolios.
  • IT industry knowledge, including Channel, Vendors, Programs, and Competition, would be an advantage.
  • E-business systems.
  • Highly numerate.
  • Strong time management and prioritization skills.
  • Good MS Excel skills.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Outlook.
