About the Role

The R&D Project Leader leads project teams to successful closure with limited direction, demonstrating independent interaction, influence, and leadership. This role is guided by product lifecycle management processes and aims to strengthen independence and strong leadership and project management skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for building, consolidating, and maintaining the R&D project plan, team, and structure, and acting as change owner if needed.
  • Assigns and monitors team deliverables for project completion.
  • Responsible for project communication with the R&D team and Leadership, PMO, and other project key stakeholders, including project status, execution strategy, risk escalation, etc.
  • Coordinates project R&D documentation and issues specific project management documentation.
  • Establishes and implements an effective project risk mitigation plan, including communication of risk status to PMO core team leader and R&D leadership team.
  • Establishes and monitors R&D project budget commitments in collaboration with the PMO core team leader and other core team members.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in technical disciplines or equivalent.
  • 3+ years of project management or experience in the product life cycle for electromedical devices.
  • Familiarity with medical device regulations and standards.
  • Familiarity with project management areas of knowledge.
  • Familiarity with electromedical devices technology and related design and development processes.
  • Team working approach and problem-solving attitude.
  • Very good communication skills.
  • Capability to adapt to technical details to wide strategic analysis and discussions.
  • Fluent in English (spoken, written/read).
