Materials Forecasting Analyst

Baker Hughes Gruppe is seeking a talented Materials Forecasting Specialist to join our Industry & Energy Technology (IET) team. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in delivering world-class service to our customers and designing the future of energy products.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop comprehensive long-term spare part forecasts for assigned product lines.
• Manage strategic stock with reorder point inventory management strategies.
• Apply predictive analytics, machine learning, simulation, and optimization techniques to generate forecasts for supply chain and customer strategy development.
• Develop processes that meet business needs across the organization, manage complex issues within functional areas of expertise, and contribute to the overall business strategy.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Quantitative Economics, Statistics, Engineering, or related field.
• Experience and accountability for complex tasks and/or projects.
• Experience/knowledge in Supply Chain, Production Planning, or Demand Planning.
• Strong coding skills in dominant scripting language (such as Python).
• Proficiency in applying modern advanced analytics methods (predictive modeling, Machine Learning, and optimization).
• Fluency in both Italian and English (oral and written).
• EU work permit.
