Visual Merchandising Manager for Corporate Outlets

Diesel stands as a prominent innovator in the denim and casual fashion landscape, consistently pushing boundaries and setting trends within the industry. In recent years, Diesel has transitioned into the realm of premium casual wear, establishing itself as a viable alternative to traditional luxury brands. With a global presence spanning over 80 countries and 5,000 retail locations, including more than 400 company-owned outlets, Diesel continues to expand its influence.

Role Overview:

Based at Diesel Headquarters in Breganze, Italy, we are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Visual Merchandising Manager to join our global VM team. This role will report directly to the Shopping Experience Director and will primarily focus on developing visual merchandising standards for the Outlet segment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Formulate and implement a comprehensive global VM strategy tailored for Outlets, collaborating with the line director and local teams to establish display principles and operational methods for this channel.

• Design a suite of VM training resources to assist, guide, and educate local VM teams and stores on the overarching global VM strategy, including seasonal guidelines, flash guidelines, and ABC guidelines.

• Evaluate and enhance the VM tools catalog by integrating new resources to optimize product displays within the stores.

• Develop new dedicated window displays for outlets or refurbish existing ones, along with all necessary collateral to support business operations (in-store signage, directories, etc.).

• Establish and nurture a network of local VM representatives, collaborating closely with each regional team.

• Willingness to travel approximately 50% of the time to facilitate strategy development.

• Collaborate with the broader corporate VM team to advance the channel's business in alignment with the global full-price strategy.

Qualifications:

• A minimum of 8 to 10 years of experience in Visual Merchandising.

• Exceptional visual merchandising skills with a strong attention to detail, recognizing the significance of visual execution and standards.

• Strong organizational and communication abilities.

• Proven track record in managing multiple projects and priorities effectively.

• A deep passion for the fashion industry, with an awareness of market trends and the capability to generate innovative ideas.

• A determined approach to achieving objectives, coupled with flexibility, enthusiasm, initiative, and a collaborative spirit.

• Proficient in computer applications, particularly Microsoft PowerPoint, Illustrator, and InDesign.

• Excellent command of the English language; proficiency in Italian is preferred.
