Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a Team: You will be responsible for leading a team of logistics professionals who are responsible for ensuring the efficient and safe movement of goods within our network.
  • Process Improvement: You will be responsible for analyzing and implementing process improvements to increase productivity and quality of service within your area of responsibility.
  • Shift Performance: You will be responsible for analyzing shift performance against relevant business objectives and implementing actions to improve operational excellence.
  • Collaboration: You will work collaboratively with management-level colleagues to standardize shift practices and ensure consistency across the network.

A Day in the Life:

You will work on a shift pattern at one of our logistics sites, ensuring that it is as productive as possible. Your main focus will be on owning and driving a culture of safety and upholding quality and shift performance standards. You will also oversee process improvements within your area and drive implementation. A typical day will be varied, including routine team management, daily operational responsibilities, process improvement, and wide-scale operational contingency tasks. You will also be a role model and mentor to new managers.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working with Lean, Six Sigma, and Kaizen techniques
  • Experience working in another logistics environment
  • Relevant experience working with the MS Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) in a professional environment
