Accounting Professional

We are seeking a highly skilled accounting professional to join our team at Max Logistics SRL Italy (Milano). As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing the company's accounting activities, ensuring accuracy and compliance of financial records.

The ideal candidate will have a degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, and proven experience in an accounting role, preferably in the logistics or forwarding sector. You will be responsible for processing and recording financial transactions, monitoring and reconciling bank account balances, preparing and submitting tax returns and financial reports, and managing invoicing activities.

Responsibilities:

• Process and record financial transactions, including payments, collections, and invoices.
• Monitor and reconcile bank account balances.
• Prepare and submit tax returns and financial reports.
• Manage invoicing activities and ensure payments are made in a timely manner.
• Liaise with the finance team to ensure compliance with accounting and tax regulations.
• Identify and implement improved processes to increase operational efficiency.

Requirements:

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Proven experience in an accounting role, preferably in the logistics or forwarding sector.
• Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and tax regulations.
• Ability to work with precision and attention to detail.
• Excellent command of IT tools, in particular accounting software and spreadsheets.
• Communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage deadlines.

Work Environment and Conditions:

Office hours: Monday-Friday: 09:00 to 18:00, 39 hours per week. Salary conditions: Will be fixed after consultation. Working mode: In presence.

One year contract (3 months of probation) according to the Italian law. Possibility of changing to full-time.
