We are seeking a highly skilled Data Analyst to support our team at Sky. As a Data Analyst, you will be responsible for applying data science methods and analytics to real-world business situations across a variety of topics.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Apply data workflow tasks as extraction, mining, preparation, quality control, KPI optimization, modelling, validation and business insight consideration.
  • Apply advanced analytics techniques in a big data paradigm considering multiple data sources.
  • Develop and deploy machine/deep learning models applied to cross-functional use cases to increase customer value or operational efficiency.

Requirements:

  • A Master's Degree in a highly quantitative field (Statistics, Computer Science, Machine Learning, Data Science, etc.) or equivalent experience.
  • 2+ years of industry experience in predictive modeling, data science and analysis.
  • Fluent in data wrangling and preparation: exploratory analysis, profiling & cleansing, feature selection, feature engineering, segmentation, clustering and PCA.
  • Strong working knowledge on programming languages as Python, SQL, R, data science libraries (Pandas, Scikit-learn, XGBoost) and MLOps tools (Git, Airflow, Kubernetes).
  • Experience using ML/DP libraries, such as scikit-learn, caret, mlr, mllib, Keras, TensorFlow, PyTorch.
  • Experience with cloud resources, usage of IDE (PyCharm, visualbasic) and version control systems (git) are highly valued.
  • Experience working with GPUs to develop models.
  • Preferred experience with Natural Language and Cognitive applications.
  • Demonstrable track record of dealing well with ambiguity, prioritizing needs, and delivering results in a dynamic environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Fluent in Italian and English.
  • Familiarity with digital marketing or advertising is a plus.
