Job Title: Incoming Inspection Technician

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Incoming Inspection Technician to join our team at Hitachi Rail STS. As an Incoming Inspection Technician, you will be responsible for conducting timely inspections of incoming materials to ensure they meet our quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough inspections of incoming products to ensure proper paperwork and compliance with specifications.
  • Complete inspection reports and ensure accurate recording of information.
  • Manage and supervise Incoming Inspection Quality Notifications (QN's) and provide prompt warnings for critical or unresolved issues.
  • Investigate and propose corrective action plans for nonconforming products.
  • Collaborate with manufacturing teams to provide timely solutions for incoming nonconformities.
  • Ensure adherence to Incoming Inspection Procedures and contribute to process improvement.
  • Participate in internal and external audits as needed.

Requirements:

  • Technical Secondary School Diploma.
  • Knowledge of fundamentals and basic rules of technical drawing.
  • Familiarity with electronic parts, measurement tools, and IPC standards.
  • Proficiency in Excel and Word or equivalent software applications.
  • Knowledge of ERP (SAP).
  • Strong attention to detail and thoroughness.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes.
