At Thales Alenia Space, we are seeking a talented and ambitious individual to fill the role of Junior Navigation System and Solution Architect. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and developing innovative navigation systems and solutions that meet the evolving needs of our customers.

About the Role:

  • You will work closely with our cross-functional teams to develop and implement navigation systems and solutions that meet the highest standards of quality and performance.
  • You will be responsible for analyzing customer requirements and developing tailored solutions that meet their needs.
  • You will collaborate with our technical teams to design and develop navigation systems and solutions that are scalable, reliable, and secure.
  • You will participate in the development of our company's navigation systems and solutions strategy, ensuring that it aligns with our business objectives.

Requirements:

  • You have a Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, and significant experience in architecture and engineering systems.
  • You have excellent leadership skills and are able to engage and develop your team through collaborative work and challenging approaches.
  • You are responsible and show a great sense of initiative, with a strong ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • You have excellent communication and relationship skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with customers, stakeholders, and team members.

Competencies:

  • You have a deep understanding of navigation systems and solutions, including their technical strategy and operational concept.
  • You have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex problems and develop effective solutions.
  • You have experience working in co-engineering environments, with a strong understanding of Lean Thinking and Obeya methodologies.
  • You have excellent communication and relationship skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with customers, stakeholders, and team members.

Nice to Have:

  • You have experience working with simulation tools such as Matlab and STK.
  • You have knowledge of basic telecommunication principles and satellite navigation principles.
  • You have experience working with Agile methodologies, including Lean Engineering and SAFe.
