Job Overview
We are seeking a Credit Specialist to enhance our financial operations.
The selected candidate will manage the credit evaluation process to mitigate the organization's credit exposure by supervising customer assessments and the collection framework, ensuring adherence to the established corporate credit guidelines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluating the credit profiles of prospective clients
- Performing regular assessments of current customers
- Overseeing the credit scoring mechanism for risk evaluation
- Establishing payment conditions
- Regulating credit thresholds
- Tracking collections and Days Sales Outstanding (DSO) metrics
- Recovering overdue payments
- Estimating bad debt provisions in accordance with IFRS9
Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree in finance, economics, management, or a related field
- 3 to 5 years of relevant experience
- Background in structured or multinational enterprises with significant global reach
- Proficiency in the English language
