Job Title: Library and Information Specialist

Chiesi Farmaceutici S.p.A. is seeking a highly skilled Library and Information Specialist to join our Global Library Unit. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing customer-oriented support by implementing a tailored approach to bibliographic resources.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Manage the Document Delivery service and correlated tools, ensuring seamless access to relevant information.
  • Contribute to the scouting of new bibliographic resources and potential customer-oriented implementations.
  • Develop and deliver training programs on research and citation skills to end-users.
  • Provide tailored bibliographic searches and analyses to support end-users and SKAI colleagues in various therapeutic areas.
  • Collaborate with the Scientific Knowledge unit to support news alerting service activities.
Requirements:
  • 1-3 years' experience in information gathering and bibliographic research within a pharma company.
  • Master's degree in biotechnology, biology, or other scientific subjects.
  • Fluent written and oral English language skills.
  • Good knowledge of sources, tools, and databases for scientific information retrieval.
  • Basic knowledge of scientific library processes and familiarity with Chiesi Therapeutic Areas.
