About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our Group Financial Office as a Credit Intern. This is a 6-month extracurricular internship that will provide valuable experience in the field of finance.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyse and evaluate customer orders to unlock credit exposure
• Monitor customers' credit exposure and manage reminder activity in line with company credit policies
• Reconcile accounting entries and manage problems related to payments and/or disputes
• Define repayment plans where necessary and collect financial information about new customers
• Review customers' financial information for seasonal credit lines renewal and prepare periodic reporting

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Economics or High School Diploma
• Previous internship experience in a finance/economics department is a plus
• Fluent English, both written and spoken
• Knowledge of another language is a plus
• Good knowledge of MS Office package, especially MS Excel
• Ability to relate and negotiate with customers
