Job Description

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled European Group Chief Financial Officer to join our team at Geiger Food Ingredients Recruitment & Consult. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and running all finance activities for our EU companies, including accounting, treasury, controlling, legal, HR, and IT.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and direct the accounting and finance team, providing monthly closures and official financials in accordance with laws and regulations.
  • Manage all other duties versus headquarters, including internal audit and compliance.
  • Manage all cash flow, payments, receivables, and payables, including cash flow forecasting and weekly analysis.
  • Negotiate relationships with banks, loans, credit lines, and conditions.
  • Manage sales and financial budgets, sales statistics, and reports for quarterly meetings.
  • Prepare targets and actual values for KRA, stock controlling, standard cost calculations, and analysis.
  • Manage legal disputes, contracts, and negotiations with suppliers, including E-energy and Gas.
  • Manage HR administration, relationships with consultants, and preparation of contracts.
  • Manage IT relationships with suppliers, including contracts for the net, PCs, servers, and problems.
Requirements
  • Five or more years of experience in executive leadership roles.
  • Excellent leadership skills, with steadfast resolve and personal integrity.
  • Exceptional verbal, written, and visual communication skills.
  • Understanding of advanced accounting, regulatory issues, and tax planning.
  • Working knowledge of how to raise capital outside traditional lines of credit.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree (or equivalent experience) in accounting, business accounting, or finance.
  • International finance experience.
  • Experience in mergers and acquisitions and investor relations.
  • Professional certification (e.g., Certified Public Accountant).
Language Skills

Fluent English and Italian is a must, other European languages are an asset.
