Main Responsibilities

  • Identify risk factors present in the company to determine corrective measures for the safety and healthiness of working environments;
  • Analyze and identify technical countermeasures to reduce the risk of accidents while operators carry out activities on machines and systems;
  • Plan and coordinate the execution of countermeasures identified to reduce the risk of accidents;
  • Manage the execution of Safety Studies such as risk assessments in critical areas;
  • Verify that the design of existing systems is in compliance with Unilever standards and current directives;
  • Collaborate with internal figures and external stakeholders to contribute to the correct carrying out of activities in compliance with assigned deadlines;
  • Work closely with Operations and Engineering manager to support and propose activities related to process continuous improvement on production lines;
  • Track metrics to discover areas for improvement and monitor upgrades;
  • Work closely with area leaders and technicians;
  • Work with internal and external stakeholders for site project tracking and results sharing;
  • Collaborate with Quality departments for compliance with Standards;
  • Use process knowledge to help develop and deliver novel products and processes for new consumer offerings;
  • Provide strategic supply chain advantage;
  • Support the Factory capability analysis (equipment lines etc) for innovation readiness;
  • Support the implementation of digital innovations and projects.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related field;
  • Preferably in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering;
  • Previous experience in a similar role;
  • English proficiency and Italian mother tongue;
  • Excellent prioritizing and time-management skills;
  • Proactive, self-motivated, and able to act as a team player;
  • Fast learner, open-minded, and growth mindset;
