We are seeking an experienced General Manager to lead our new luxury resort in Sardinia. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving business growth, delivering exceptional guest experiences, and fostering a positive work environment.
Key Responsibilities- Business Strategy Development: Develop and implement business plans to maximize property customer satisfaction, profitability, and market share. Stay current with industry trends and monitor competition to identify opportunities for growth.
- Business Strategy Execution: Execute business plans and ensure alignment with company strategies. Hold leadership teams accountable for successful delivery and continually evaluate the success of business strategies to inform future enhancements.
- Sales and Marketing: Work closely with sales and marketing teams to develop revenue-generating strategies. Identify new business leads, develop tailored sales approaches, and actively pursue leads to drive revenue growth.
- Talent Management and Organizational Capability: Create a high-performance executive committee and coach leaders to drive positive results. Develop learning and development opportunities for employees and create succession plans for future job openings.
- Business Information Analysis: Review business data to proactively address changing market conditions and ensure property operations are within budgetary guidelines. Analyze data to identify indicators of product and service successes and opportunities for improvement.
- Employee and Labor Relations: Foster an environment of open communication and treat employees fairly and with respect. Build rapport with employees and celebrate their successes in a public way.
- Revenue Management: Work with revenue management teams to develop effective pricing strategies and balance seasonality, economy, customer segments, and property objectives. Ensure demand forecasting and sound revenue practices are in place to maximize yield.
- Owner Relations: Build strong rapport with property owners through proactive and ongoing communication. Keep owners informed of company initiatives and guest experiences, and provide in-depth analysis of property performance.
- Customer and Public Relations Management: Interact with guests and other customers to obtain feedback and recognize outstanding employee service performance. Emphasize and hold leadership teams accountable for addressing service failures and developing innovative ways to exceed guest expectations.
- Company/Brand Policy, Procedures, and Standards Compliance: Verify property compliance with legal, safety, operations, labor, and company product and service standards. Conduct quality assurance audits and hold employees accountable for performing audits on a regular basis.
